About me

I am Nils Lanners, a sworn translator for Russian and French in Rhineland-Palatinate (officially: für Justizangelegenheiten ermächtigter Übersetzer).

This authorisation allows me to certify that my translations are correct and complete. That is why every translation carries my certification statement, my signature and my stamp, in the form that registry offices, immigration offices and courts require.

I translate from Russian and French into German, and from German into both languages. Your request comes straight to me: from the first question to the finished translation, you deal with one person.

Frequently asked questions

Will German authorities accept the translation?

Yes. As a sworn translator I certify every translation with my signature and stamp. This is the form that registry offices, immigration offices and courts require.

Do I need the original?

For the quote, a photo or scan is enough. Whether the office that asks for the translation also wants to see the original, we clarify beforehand.

How much does a certified translation cost?

That depends on the document and its length. You receive a quote first and then decide.
